September 2020: The leadership of the New York State Nursery and Landscaping Association continues to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our industry and members. Governor Cuomo deemed landscaping and gardening to be "low-risk businesses" that re-opened across New York State on May 15th. LEARN MORE!

  • We employee thousands of people.
  • Many of our members are small businesses—multi-generational and family-owned—with strong ties to the communities they serve.
  • The majority of our work is performed outdoors with our employees easily practicing social distance.
  • As a professional trade association, we have extensively educated our members on the proper work protocols and safety precautions.
  • People are staying home and want to beautify outdoor spaces. Doing this will help boost the morale and the well-being of the public.
